The owners of Wilshire Landmark I have effected numerous energy savings measures throughout the property including lighting retrofits ,energy efficient motors and variable frequency drives. As a culmination of these efforts, the building has been awarded the prestigious Energy Star Building Label for Energy Performance. This program is administered by the Environmental Protection Agency and is awarded only where properties meet strict benchmark criteria. Aside from the environmental benefits, these measures result in lower operating costs and real savings to tenants.

The building has also been designated by the U.S. Green Building Council as LEED-EB silver certified.
